Formerly known as the “Stop Elder Abuse” house, the property at 1200 Phillips Avenue at the corner of Maryland Parkway, just north of Sahara, has been a derelict property and an eyesore for the entire community for well over ten years. It has been host to vagrants and vandals. It has been the subject of countless Metro Police calls. It has been stripped of its plumbing, electrical, AC units and drywall. It even had a 10′ deep make-shift bomb shelter hole dug in the middle of the floor.
A new owner has purchased the property and it is hoped that this pivotal home of the neighborhood will be a credit and inspiration to the downtown Vintage Vegas community!
